I talked to Jennette around 4pm Kansas City time. She and Jason were on the way to the Hospital to start the induction process. At her appointment this afternoon it was discovered that her blood pressure was high. I think she said 140/90 and there was some protein in her urine. She has gained too much water weight this week and Maddy has been much more quiet (not moving as much) today. All of this means she has Preeclampsia. This can be dangerous so please pray that the induction process goes smoothly and quickly and that Jennette and Maddy stay safe and healthy.

Maddy's heart rate was fine at the Doctor's office and they will monitor her and Jennette very closely during the induction. Since Jennette has already had a prior C-Section she was already going to be monitored closely for that. As of right now she is still going to try for a vaginal birth. She was not dilated at all though so they have to start with some medicine to prepare her cervix. They are also going to do some blood work on Jennette to closely monitor her condition.

Please pray that the Doctor's have wisdom in Jennette and Maddy's care. That Jennette and Jason have peace and strength. That this will be a safe, healthy beautiful experience for these two as they have been through so much.

Father we thank you for Maddy! We thank you for how well things have gone with Jennette's pregnancy. We ask that you fill Jennette, Jason and Maddy with your spirit right now. That there would be peace, love and protection just covering them through labor and delivery. We pray that Maddy would be born healthy and right into mommy's arms. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness. We pray this in Jesus' name!
